One of the best ways for juniors to advance their game is through competition, and 2015 was a year marked with great successes in junior tournaments!
Our Junior Grand Prix race came down to the wire throughout the circuit and culminated in the 2015 Junior Grand Prix Invitational at Stanford in August, where champions were crowned in the boys’ and girls’ 12s, 14s, 16s and 18s. We also had five Sportsmanship Winners who showed outstanding conduct throughout the invitational! You can see a full list of our winners here.
Back in May, Team NorCal had an amazing time in the 42nd Annual Maze Cup! The team traveled to Bakersfield to play against Team SoCal. Although NorCal came up short, it was a fun time and saw some great competition. See a video of the last point of the event on our Facebook page!
NorCal Juniors also had outstanding success at the Easter Bowl in April. Cameron Klinger of NorCal won the B18 Doubles, and NorCal had one finalist, one semifinalist and four quarterfinalists in addition to multiple competitors in the 10 divisions. You can see results here!
