Recap on the 2015 Herb Cup

Thank you to all the participants in the 2015 Herb Cup for making this past weekend at Stanford a huge success! What a great showing from all of our players! All the matching outfits were truly awesome. Many first-timers and veterans…first time for some and last time for others. Congratulations go out to the following division winners:

Best Matching Teams (Yellow):

• First place for girls to The Ninja Turtles (Tiffany Boudagian & Yuu Ishikawa).
• First place for boys to The Super Saiyans (Arjith Jayaraman & Chethan Swanson).
• Second place for girls to The Wonder Girls (Anjali Mogili & Alexis Johnson).
• Second place for boys to Mario & Luigi (Mayson Xue & Max Yun).

Best Matching Teams (Orange and Green):

• First place for boys to Old School Players (Jay Motamarry and Harshil Ahuja).
• Second place to The Cat Twins (Isabella Popa and Emily Tan).
• Third place to The Stanford Farm Brothers (Nate Sassoon and Ethan Auyeung).

Departing Seniors

There was a total of 10 high school seniors in this year’s Herb Cup (left to right): Stephanie Nguyen, Rupa Ganesh, Alex Keyser, Myles Conlin, Karthik Padmanabhan, Amit Batta, Kyle Pease, Gabriel Owens, Mayson Xue and Max Yun.

Win or lose, we hope the players experience at the Herb Cup was a great one. We hope to see some of you in December at the NorCal Junior Masters at Stanford University as the top 8 battle it out in singles in another unique round robin format!
