Orange & Green Winter Sectionals

Orange & Green Winter Sectionals

It was a big year for our Red, Orange, Green and Yellow pathway, as we kicked off 2015 with our first-ever Orange and Green Ball Sectionals! We held the groundbreaking event at Golden Gate Park Tennis Complex in San Francisco and crowned the inaugural Orange and Green Sectional champions, as well as winners for our Sportsmanship Awards. It set the stage for a great year of R.O.G.Y. tennis in 2015!

We followed with a hugely successful Spring Orange and Green Ball Sectional Team Tournament in June, which saw a total of 210 players and 36 teams! We had a blast at Diamond Hills Sports Club in the nine different flights. Check out the recap from the event and all of our photos!

Our Summer Orange and Green Ball Sectionals crowned champions in the boys’ and girls’ 10s and 12s singles and doubles brackets. We had another astonishing turnout and it was a blast! Check out photos and a list of all champions, finalists, and third- & fourth-place finishers.

Most recently, we had our 10’s Exchange, where our NorCal team headed to Southern California to play against other teams in the West Region. Our 10U team defeated Pacific Northwest and Intermountain before a tough loss to finish in second place overall! Congratulations to Team NorCal’s 10’s Exchange team on a great finish! The fun hasn’t ended yet for our Red, Orange, Green and Yellow Programs, either! We have several tri-level Future Tennis Champions Events coming up this Fall. These will be in South Bay, East Bay, San Francisco and San Joaquin Valley. Look out for one in your area!

R.O.G.Y. tennis provides a great pathway using kid-sized equipment for everyone to try tennis at the right developmental level. Not only are you playing real tennis, but you’re also having real fun! To learn more about the R.O.G.Y. pathway, click here.

R.O.G.Y. players: Don’t forget about our Junior Awards Party coming up on December 19th! This is an amazing opportunity for everyone to celebrate a successful year of NorCal R.O.G.Y. programs and players. Stay tuned for more info!
